{"id":22990,"date":"2012-04-11T05:28:08","date_gmt":"2012-04-11T10:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=22990"},"modified":"2012-04-11T05:28:08","modified_gmt":"2012-04-11T10:28:08","slug":"patrol-investigating-2-car-injury-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2012\/04\/11\/patrol-investigating-2-car-injury-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Patrol investigating 2-car injury crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating an injury crash that occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/osplogo.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/osplogo.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"97\" height=\"128\" \/><\/a>The two-vehicle crash occurred on Ohio 116 at the intersection of Jennings Road southeast of Van Wert. John Ruddock, 79, of Van Wert, was driving a 2002 Ford station wagon and Dorothy Gleckler, 79, also of Van Wert, was driving a 2008 Dodge four door. The vehicles collided at the intersection.<\/p>\n<p>Both drivers were transported to Van Wert County Hospital by Middle Point EMS. Both vehicles also sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting at the scene were the Van Wert County Sheriff\u2019s Department and Middle Point Fire and EMS.<\/p>\n<p>The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating an injury crash that occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. Tuesday.
