The\u00a0conclusion was to suspend the second meeting until\u00a0fall and reevaluate its future at that time.<\/p>\n<p>One of the other club discussion topics were whether there might be a public perception that members had to have a single lens reflex camera with a collection of specialized lenses in order to be a successful photographer. Such a perception is totally inaccurate. When a photographer sees, or creates, a picture, it\u00a0can be\u00a0captured\u00a0on almost any device-including an iPod, cell phone, or iPad to name a few. \u00a0These non-conventional cameras often offer different points of views and interesting angles. It is true that the quality of the pictures taken with one of these devices may not\u00a0be\u00a0as high as that taken with a digital camera, but some of\u00a0them\u00a0approach it. Your ability to use the equipment plays a greater role in the quality of the image than the price you\u00a0paid for\u00a0it. Remember that the club will not regularly meet on the second Thursdays of the month in May, June, July, and August unless there is a news release prior to the meeting.
