{"id":24965,"date":"2012-05-31T06:08:49","date_gmt":"2012-05-31T11:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=24965"},"modified":"2012-05-31T06:08:49","modified_gmt":"2012-05-31T11:08:49","slug":"rays-of-hope-camp-scheduled-in-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2012\/05\/31\/rays-of-hope-camp-scheduled-in-june\/","title":{"rendered":"Rays of Hope Camp scheduled in June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>CHP information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Community Health Professionals\u2019 Hospice will conduct its annual Rays of Hope Camp June 26-28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, at Camp Clay, 9196 Liberty-Union Road.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Rays-of-Hope-Camp-logo-5-2012.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-24966\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Rays-of-Hope-Camp-logo-5-2012.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>The camp is for children ages 6-17 who have recently lost a loved one and helps them gain support, develop friendships and have a better understanding of the grief process.<\/p>\n<p>Most importantly, Rays of Hope Camp provides an environment where kids can express feelings of loss among others their age with similar experiences.<\/p>\n<p>There are also many fun activities like swimming, rock wall climbing, team-building obstacles, crafts, games, music, and more. Open to youth from Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert Counties; the cost is $20 for one family member, $25 for two and $30 for three or more.
