There\u2019s a saying that you have no doubt heard before \u2026\u201cnew and improved.\u201d The 2012 Chamber Golf Classic is just that! Mark those calendars now for Wednesday, July 18, but only for half of the day as the Golf Classic is set to tee off at noon. The new schedule was created especially for all those diehard, responsible business owners and employees that feel they just have to get that half-day of work in!<\/p>\n

Take care of business on the morning of July 18, then grab those clubs and meet at Hickory Sticks Golf Club for an afternoon of 18 holes of golf and great networking opportunities. The Chamber will provide box lunches for all golfers as they begin their afternoon of golf.<\/p>\n

And for another twist: the Chamber is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the United Way of Van Wert County for the 2012 Golf Classic, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the United Way.<\/p>\n

It can\u2019t get much better than that! Spend an afternoon of \u201cfriendly competitive\u201d golf with a best ball scramble format that will include a variety of contests sponsored by Greve Chrysler, including a putting contest, longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin and a Hole-in-One contest.\u00a0 Participate in of the area\u2019s premier golf outings and support the local United Way \u2026 a great way to spend an afternoon!<\/p>\n

Individual and team awards, delicious appetizers and connecting with colleagues will help wrap up the day at Mulligan\u2019s Pub and Bistro. \u00a0There will be featured door prizes and a Traveling Trophy award. Register a team today to have a chance at winning, or at least enjoying some networking on the course.<\/p>\n
