(Dave Mosier\/Van Wert independent)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 30 at the intersection of Liberty Union Road. William Rockwood, 27 of Scott, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier and John Lenz, 35, of the Lucas County community of Oregon, was driving a 2008 Freightliner Ryder rental truck.<\/p>\n<p>According to troopers, the Cavalier, which was southbound, pulled from the stop sign on Liberty Union Road and was struck by the eastbound truck.<\/p>\n<p>Rockwood was transported to Van Wert County Hospital by Brickner Ambulance Service for treatment of his injuries, while his vehicle had to be towed from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting at the scene were the Van Wert County Sheriff\u2019s Department and Convoy Fire and EMS.<\/p>\n<p>The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OSHP information The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating an minor injury crash that occurred on Monday at 5:04 p.m. The two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 30 at the intersection of Liberty Union Road.
