The Rally in The Corn event is sponsoring a bloodmobile at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds in the Administration Building EMR Room, 1055 S. Washington St., between the hours of 10 a.m.-4 p.m. this Saturday, June 16.<\/p>\n
There is no entrance fee to donate blood and donors should enter through Gate 2. Those at least 17 years of age (16 with parental consent; forms are available at the Red Cross Office, 208 E. Main St.), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and are in good general health, may be eligible to donate blood.\u00a0Bring a positive form of identification (a donor card or a driver\u2019s license).<\/p>\n

All blood types are needed; however, there is a specific urgent need for blood types O+, O-, A-, and B-. Everyone presenting will receive a t-shirt and will be entered into a regionwide drawing to win a $500 gas card.
