This compares with the national average, which has fallen 6.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.37 a gallon, according to gasoline price website <a href=\"http:\/\/OhioGasPrices.com\/\">OhioGasPrices.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"MGN Online graphic\" rel=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Gas-price-artwork-2-22-2012.jpg\" href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Gas-price-artwork-2-22-2012.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-25131\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Gas-price-artwork-2-22-2012.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Including the change in gas prices in Ohio during the past week, prices yesterday were 35.4 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 31.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 24.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 19.8 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oil prices rose significantly last Friday, reversing a downward trend,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/GasBuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a> Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. &#8220;It was the largest single day jump in recent memory.
