StateWide Ford Lincoln is excited to announce it has paired with the LVW Soccer Association and Van Wert YMCA to bring its newest grassroots community program to kids and families.\u00a0 It\u2019s called the Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge!<\/p>\n

Starting in July 2012, the Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge will join Ford dealerships with local youth soccer clubs\/YMCAs\/schools in skills challenges throughout the Great Lakes Region.\u00a0 Boys and Girls, 8-13 will compete in a series of challenges designed to encourage teamwork, improve their soccer skills and most importantly, have fun!\u00a0 Participants will receive points based on their performance of the six different soccer skills (toe taps, foundations, juggling (right and left foot) and dribbling (right and left foot).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The top scorers, a boy and girl from each age group, will be awarded a trophy at the end of the event.\u00a0 All participants will receive a souvenir scorecard and t-shirt for their efforts as well as a two-month iSoccer Plus membership.<\/p>\n

Local winners will be invited to participate in a Regional Finals event in late September or October to compete again for a trophy and other prizes (regional finals details will be forthcoming at a later date).\u00a0 Statewide Ford Lincoln will donate $500 to the LVW Soccer Association that will assist in executing the local challenge competition.<\/p>\n

In addition to the soccer challenges, StateWide Ford Lincoln will be displaying the all-new 2013 Ford Escape in a dedicated vehicle display space during the entire soccer skills program and Dealer representatives will be on hand to answer consumer questions.\u00a0 Parents\/legal guardians of the participants may enter for a chance to win a two-year lease of the 2013 Escape, Ford\u2019s newest smart and green compact crossover vehicle.\u00a0 (no purchase necessary \u2013 complete rules at: www.fordescapesoccerskillschallenge.com\/findevent<\/a>). A winner will be randomly selected on October 15.<\/p>\n
