Mendenhall\u2019s resignation leaves Lincolnview officials with only a few weeks to find a replacement before the start of the new school year.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to teaching physical education in the elementary school, Mendenhall was also assistant athletic director, assistant varsity girls\u2019 basketball coach and head baseball coach.<\/p>\n<p>After accepting Mendenhall\u2019s resignation, the board went into executive session to discuss personnel matters, with no action taken following the session.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent The Lincolnview Local Board of Education met in special session Thursday evening to approve the resignation of teacher Brad Mendenhall.
