The Van Wert County Agricultural Society announces that a second annual free fair entertainment auction will be held Saturday, August 4, at 10 a.m., in the Junior Fair Building. The auctions\u2019 purpose is to help raise funds to provide quality free entertainment during the Van Wert County Fair.<\/p>\n

There will be both national and local items that have been donated — from gift certificates to signed items to other items. There will be signed photos, posters, and CDs, among other items, by various sports and entertainment personalities, including Peyton Manning, Hinder, Charlie Daniels, Michael W Smith, Brian Vickers, Casting Crowns, Colt Ford, Montgomery Gentry, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Tony Hawk, Richard Petty, Marco Andretti, and Nickelback.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There will also be purses from Stephanie Dawn and a Kennedy Manufacturing Company took box.\u00a0 There will be gift certificates for items, admission to attractions, or gift cards. There will also be a number of gift certificates, coupons, etc., including food coupons, Walmart gift certificates, Kings Island tickets, Cedar Point tickets, Baseball Hall of Fame and Football Hall of Fame tickets, as well as for the Shedd Aquarium, Blue Man Group on Broadway, and Walt Disney World, Sephora, jewelry from Joan Rivers\u2019 QVC line, commemorative medal\/stamp sets for the 9\/11 attacks, pillows, a free round of golf at Willow Bend Country Club, items from the PBR and IPRA rodeos, Hat Creek Arena tickets, scrapbooking supplies, Armstrong Space Museum and Science Central tickets, YWCA certificates, Wellness Center, Chamber Bucks, Cooper Farms turkey meat, Wannemacher\u2019s honey, a Kameleon sterling silver necklace from Laudick\u2019s, \u201cDr. Phil Show\u201d, Wheel of Fortune, and Cleveland Indians tickets, Stanley tools, and Van Wert Vision certificates.<\/p>\n

There will also be trips and experiences that have been graciously consigned to help raise money for the fair. Those include a trip to Kennedy Space Center where children can train like astronauts and enjoy lunch with a real-life astronaut, a New York City Broadway excursion, a gambling trip to Las Vegas or a family visit to the national monuments and museums in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

For the sports enthusiasts, there is a trip to the 2013 Daytona 500, or one to New York City to attend WWE WrestleMania in 2013.\u00a0 For the diehard sports fan, there is the chance to attend the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, where one has the chance of meeting sports greats and legends of their field.<\/p>\n

For those tired of the Midwest winter chill, there is a trip to Southern California that includes the Los Angeles Adventure and Disneyland, Disney California Adventures, the San Diego Zoo, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Sea World San Diego.<\/p>\n

There will also have a trip to Waikiki Beach in Hawaii for a possible honeymoon or just a vacation to the 50th state.<\/p>\n

There is also a trip to New York City with a Saks Fifth Avenue shopping experience that includes a $2,500 gift card to that store) and a stay at the Plaza Hotel in New York, where one may get the chance to see famous celebrities.<\/p>\n
