{"id":27251,"date":"2012-08-02T06:00:27","date_gmt":"2012-08-02T11:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=27251"},"modified":"2012-08-02T06:00:27","modified_gmt":"2012-08-02T11:00:27","slug":"fairgrounds-in-garage-sale-mode","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2012\/08\/02\/fairgrounds-in-garage-sale-mode\/","title":{"rendered":"Fairgrounds in &#8216;garage sale mode&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Fair Board information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Van Wert County Fairgrounds has gone into \u201cgarage sale mode\u201d for this weekend. \u00a0More than 60 vendors will be located around the fairgrounds, in the Commercial Building, EMR Room, Annex Room, Agriculture Building and the Little Red School House.<\/p>\n<p>Food vendors will also be available, including Don the Potato Man, and those serving pretzels, lemon shake-ups, and more. \u00a0Members of First United Brethren in Christ Church will be selling popcorn.<\/p>\n<p>On the south end of the fairgrounds, the annual Van Wert Rib Fest will be in full swing Friday and Saturday and food, games, music and much more will be available for the public to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday morning at 10 a.m. a huge auction is scheduled, including autographed items from the entertainment field and much more.\u00a0 Items for sale ranging from CDs to trips will also be available.\u00a0 Visit the Fair Board office to pick up a list of items.\u00a0 The proceeds will help cover the cost of free entertainment during the Van Wert County Fair.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fair Board information The Van Wert County Fairgrounds has gone into \u201cgarage sale mode\u201d for this weekend. \u00a0More than 60 vendors will be located around the fairgrounds, in the Commercial Building, EMR Room, Annex Room, Agriculture Building and the Little Red School House.
