Just coming off a successful performance of the\u00a0Swan\u00a0Lake<\/em> ballet, it\u2019s difficult to think much beyond last night.\u00a0\u00a0However, we move on and move on quickly!\u00a0\u00a0This weekend, we present a musical concert that is fit most appropriately for a Valentine’s Day audience.\u00a0\u00a0Pop pianist Jim Brickman will perform a concert filled with love and romance this Sunday evening at\u00a07:30.\u00a0\u00a0About 20 tickets remain, scattered throughout the performance hall as most couple seats have been filled.\u00a0\u00a0If you are willing to separate from your partner or come alone, you might be able to get in and experience a wonderful concert.<\/p>\n

Jim Brickman, who originally hails from\u00a0Cleveland,\u00a0Ohio\u00a0claims to actually know where\u00a0Van Wert,\u00a0Ohio\u00a0is located\u2026.and he just might!\u00a0\u00a0Most of the performers we bring to the Niswonger Performing Arts Center learn about Van Wert for the first time.\u00a0\u00a0But now on Jim\u2019s tour, Van Wert is in the mix with\u00a0Flint,\u00a0Mich.,\u00a0Cincinnati,\u00a0Durham,\u00a0N.C., and Virginia Beach,\u00a0Va.\u00a0\u00a0I feel very fortunate that we were able to secure Jim for February 13.\u00a0\u00a0He is the absolute best performer I can think of for a Valentine\u2019s Day concert.\u00a0When you attend Sunday\u2019s concert, I think you will realize why he is recognized as “America\u2019s Romantic Piano Sensation.”<\/p>\n

His musical discography includes songs like “Valentine,” “Love of My Life,” and “Beautiful,” just to name a few.\u00a0\u00a0He has won many awards including a Dove Award most recently by the Christian music industry.\u00a0\u00a0Many of his albums have included religious music, although it is his romantic piano stylings and songs that have made Jim Brickman who he is.<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with such stars as Lady Antebellum, Donny Osmond, Michael Bolton, Olivia Newton-John and even Kermit The Frog!\u00a0\u00a0In his Van Wert performance, he will be bringing a vocalist to share the stage with him as well as a band.\u00a0\u00a0If you have heard Jim\u2019s music, you know that he also sings and has a very simple yet mesmerizing voice that really draws you into his music.<\/p>\n

When we clean up from the Jim Brickman concert, we will then start planning for the American Spiritual Ensemble on Saturday, February 19.\u00a0\u00a0If you are in need of a spiritual lift and an entertaining evening, then you won\u2019t want to miss this one!\u00a0\u00a0Both of these concerts coming up will lift your spirits and leave you on a spiritual high because of the beautiful music and the meaningful lyrics.<\/p>\n
