The operation now employs 12 people, according to Jim Miller.

Van Wert City Council President Gary Corcoran, who is also chairman of the Revolving Loan Fund Committee, said he was pleased that a building that has been empty for several years would now be occupied. “We are really glad we can provide a facility, and that we can help fund the needed resources that they require in order to start utilizing that facility in our community,” Corcoran noted.

Some work is still needed on the building to make it compatible for Miller Precision’s operations, Jim Miller noted, with equipment being moved into the building possibly next week. Some construction was also needed to make the interior of the building a better fit for Miller Precision’s operations.

The new facility will allow the company, which currently has a total of 85 employees, to streamline its operations, Jim Miller said.
