Calista Dowdy received a first place and a monetary award for her sand painting titled Falling in Love. <\/em>Holly Diller received an honorable mention in the drawing category for her scratchboard titled Poirot<\/em> and Merissa Jones also received an honorable mention in the painting category for her acrylic titled Scarlet Letter.<\/em><\/p>\n The following organizations, the Delphos Optimists Club, the Delphos Kiwanis and the Delphos Rotary sponsored and provided the monetary prizes for the students. The exhibit is open on Fridays 1-5, Saturdays 10-2, and Sunday 1-4. The Delphos Area Art guild holds meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 8 p.m. with various workshops.\u00a0\u00a0 Currently guest ceramic artist, Ralph Stuckman, is presenting a Delphos Community Project where the participants are creating tiles that will be placed in a community mural that features the history of Delphos and the surrounding area. \nThe Beta Club is sponsoring a Food Drive Feb. 1-15.\u00a0 The non-perishable food items collected will be donated to The First Baptist Church Food Pantry.\u00a0 On Saturday, Feb. 12 during the boys game vs. St. Johns there will be a box to collect food items if you would like to donate when you come to the game.\u00a0 The box will be located near the southeast entrance of the high school gymnasium.
