{"id":28606,"date":"2012-09-08T05:10:30","date_gmt":"2012-09-08T10:10:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=28606"},"modified":"2012-09-08T05:10:30","modified_gmt":"2012-09-08T10:10:30","slug":"absentee-voter-information-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2012\/09\/08\/absentee-voter-information-released\/","title":{"rendered":"Absentee voter information released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Board of Elections information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Ohio Secretary of State&#8217;s Office recently mailed absent voter applications to all registered voters in Van Wert County (and the rest of the state).\u00a0 Between now and Election Day (Tuesday, November 6), voters may receive a number of absentee applications from political parties, special interest groups, etc. Just to clear up any confusion, voters may either use the form they receive from the Secretary of State or call the Van Wert County Board of Elections (419.238.4192), which will send voters the same forms previously sent out.<\/p>\n<p>Those who are not currently registered in Van Wert or need to make a name or address change will need to stop by the Board of Elections office by 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, in order to vote on November 6.<\/p>\n<p>Early voting will begin at the offices of the Board of Elections on Tuesday, October 2.
