Franklin St. in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Red-Cross-blood-drive-logo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5875\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Red-Cross-blood-drive-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a>To schedule an appointment to donate, please call 1.800.RED.CROSS or go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redcrossblood.org\">www.redcrossblood.org<\/a>. \u00a0\u00a0Any person 17 or older in generally good health and weighing at least 110 pounds is eligible to donate.\u00a0 There currently is a national call to donate blood due to a critical shortage of blood supply that may affect availability for patients in need.<\/p>\n<p>Donations are needed to help maintain a stable blood supply for ongoing and emergency needs.\u00a0 Donating one pint of whole blood can be used to save up to three lives.
