(Dave Mosier\/Van Wert independent)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The indictments stem from an accident August 5 at the intersection of Chenoweth Road and Lincoln Highway that resulted in the death of 90-year-old Geneva Lambert.<\/p>\n<p>According to an investigation conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Hundley had been \u201chuffing\u201d from a can of compressed air immediately prior to the accident, and had passed out, according to reports, before the 2003 Dodge Dakota she was driving went off the side of the road and smashed into Lambert\u2019s vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The child endangering count stems from the fact that a 13-year-old passenger in Hundley\u2019s vehicle was also injured in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Hundley pleaded not guilty to the indictment during her arraignment on Wednesday, and was released on a personal surety bond by Magistrate Joe Quatman, with the additional condition that she not drive any vehicle while out on bond.<\/p>\n<p>Municipal Court probation officers assisted in arresting Hundley on Friday, and she will remain in jail until a hearing on the probation violation is held in that court.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the charges filed against Hundley, the owner of the Dakota, Gary L. Spridgeon of Middle Point, also faces a charge of wrongful entrustment for allowing Hundley to use the vehicle while she was under a license suspension.
