The juniors have their heads filled with wonderful and elegant prom ideas. And of course the seniors’ ‘Senioritis’ is already kicking in. But none-the-less, students are very eager to get started. Musical auditions were held for this year’s rendition of Frog and Toad. Knight Vision has its show down and is cleaning for its first competition in Ada. The Marching Knights opened up their competition season at the Troy invitational. “I am looking forward to watching the seniors develop their roles on stage in this show and taking that ability and impacting the underclassman. This group of seniors has a lot of diversity in their personalities and abilities and A Year with Frog and Toad is a musical that is very different from previous musicals. The challenge, the work and the end result will be worth every minute of rehearsal rime for everyone involved in some aspect of this show”, said director Mrs. Hancock.

Red, white and blue colors fill Convoy as the community roots on the Knights whether it is volleyball, soccer, cross country, golf or football. The volleyballers are in contention for NWC champs with only one loss in the league to the T-Birds. The football team is battered and bruised but 3-2 after dropping a tough one to Bluffton but preparing for the homecoming game against Jefferson. “With so many crucial injuries taking place in our senior leaders, there is no doubt that the younger kids need to step up and make plays. I have confidence in my teammates that they will be able to mature and get the job done”, Said senior Jake Harmon. The soccer team is 2-5-1 and preparing for Kick 4 The Cure which will take place Sept. 29. Bringing a canned food item to the game will get spectators two dollars off admission.

The homecoming festivities are planned with the annual PowderPuff game on the 27th with the homecoming parade right before it.
