Off Stage Productions information<\/em><\/p>\n

Reservations are now open for Off Stage Production’s latest dinner theatre show, Sex Please, We\u2019re Sixty<\/em>, an American farce written by Michael and Susan Parker, directed by Linda McClure, and performed at the Senior Center 220 Fox Road in Van Wert.<\/p>\n

The general public can begin making reservations by calling 419-605-6708, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. \u2028Show dates are October 5-7 and 12-13, with the performance on the October 7 being a matinee. Catering is provided by Grants Catering. Tickets are $22 and include a delicious full buffet style dinner and the show. Doors open Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. and show at 8. On Sunday, doors open at 12:30 p.m., with dinner at 1 p.m. and show at 2 in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Join OSP\u2019s all-star cast and creative team and find out what happens to these \u201chormonally challenged\u201d heroes. This is a Parker play, so one knows there\u2019s always a surprising, unexpected twist at the end.<\/p>\n

The story is as follows: Mrs. Stancliffe\u2019s Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast has been successful for many years. Her guests (nearly all women) return year after year. Her next-door neighbor, the elderly, silver-tongued Bud \u201cBud the Stud\u201d Davis, believes they come to spend time with him in romantic liaisons. The prim and proper Mrs. Stancliffe steadfastly denies this, but really doesn\u2019t do anything to prevent it. She reluctantly accepts the fact that \u201cBud the Stud\u201d is, in fact, good for business.<\/p>\n

Her other neighbor and would-be suitor, Henry Mitchell, is a retired chemist who has developed a blue pill called \u201cVenusia,\u201d named after Venus the goddess of love, to increase the libido of menopausal women. The pill has not been tested.<\/p>\n

Add to the guest list three older women: Victoria Ambrose, a romance novelist whose personal life seems to be lacking in romance; Hillary Hudson, a friend of Henry\u2019s who has agreed to test the Venusia; and Charmaine Beauregard, a \u201cSouthern belle\u201d whose libido does not need to be increased!<\/p>\n

Bud gets his hands on some of the Venusia pills and the fun begins when he attempts to entertain all three women! When the mayhem settles down, all the women find their lives moving in new and surprising directions.<\/p>\n
