Nelson, 50, was charged with two counts of trafficking in marijuana, both felonies of the fifth degree, and one fourth-degree count of trafficking in marijuana. Nelson was found at his residence on East Suthoff Street and arrested without incident, Chief Fittro noted.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/Delphos-PD-photo-layout-10-18-12.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-30279\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/Delphos-PD-photo-layout-10-18-12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"413\" \/><\/a>Cynthia A. Kline, 53, was indicted on three counts of trafficking in marijuana and one count of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, all fifth-degree felonies. Kline turned herself in at the Allen County Sheriff\u2019s Department.<\/p>\n<p>Dustin W. Lehmkuhle, 23, was charged with one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony offense. He was arrested without incident at his place of employment in Delphos.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer R. Wallace, 29, was charged with one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony offense. She was located at a home in the 500 block of North Main Street and arrested without incident.<\/p>\n<p>All four cases were originally conducted by the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, which is comprised of officers from the Allen and Van Wert County sheriff\u2019s departments, the Lima, Delphos and Shawnee Township police departments, and multiple state and federal law enforcement agencies, which operates in several area counties to combat drugs and major crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Fittro noted that it was standard procedure to investigate crimes, but not immediately arrest those involved. \u201cAfter search warrants are executed and evidence has been gathered, the investigating officer presents the facts to a Grand Jury,\u201d the police chief said. \u201cThe Grand Jury then determines if there is sufficient evidence to formally charge (indict) the suspect with a crime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough this practice may alarm some people, it is standard procedure and does not mean the suspect has \u2018gotten away\u2019 with any alleged crime(s),\u201d Chief Fittro added.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the task force, contact Lt.
