(Photo submitted.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Lincolnview Student Council will be sponsoring Halloween activities next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The student body will be encouraged to dress as follows: Monday in their favorite sports attire; Tuesday as mismatched as possible (&#8220;Fashion Disaster&#8221; Day) and finally Wednesday students will be encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes with a costume judging contest held during both the junior high and High school lunch time (when they have about 15 minutes left in their lunch). In the past the costume judging had been held first thing in the morning, but with more and more of our upperclassmen involved in post-secondary schooling Student Council would like to allow them the opportunity to participate as well.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30532\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30532\" style=\"width: 540px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/LL-SOCCER-TEAMS.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30532 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/LL-SOCCER-TEAMS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30532\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lancers soccer team at Crew Stadium. (Photo submitted.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Lancer Boys and Girls Soccer teams spent a team bonding day enjoying the Columbus Crew game on Oct. 6. The Crew played Sporting Kansas and the game ended in a tie 1-1 with an exciting last minute shot.\u00a0 The Lancer girls\u2019 team finished their season with a 4-2 conference record for a share of second place in the NWC.\u00a0 After a hard fought tournament performance on Tuesday, Oct. 16, the boys finished their season with 6 wins, 7 losses, and 5 ties.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lincolnview Student Council will be sponsoring Halloween activities next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
