(VWHS wrestling photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Cougars had to give up four voids in the tourney, which can adversely affect a team\u2019s ability to compete against fully-manned opposing teams, and that was the case on Saturday. A highlight of the tournament was Terri Contreras\u2019 championship in the 285-pound weight class. Contreras went 4-0 in the tourney, with three pins in those four matches.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing second in the 195-pound weight class was Gabe Hill, who was 3-1 overall, with pins in all three of his victories.<\/p>\n<p>Three Cougar wrestlers were fourth in their weight classes. Those include Daniel Thompson at 160 pounds, Colten Royer at 170 and Jordan Daniels at 182 pounds.\u00a0 All had 2-2 records, with Daniels having two pins and the other two one pin apiece.
