(VW independent file photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em>Information submitted<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Just a reminder that the Van Wert County Common Pleas Court, located on the third floor of the County Courthouse, will be having an open house from 1-3 p.m. this Sunday to show off the recent courtroom renovation project.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes new paint, carpeting, replacements for missing wood carvings on the top of two arches in the courtroom and restoration of the magnificent stained-glass dome that has been covered since 1951.<\/p>\n<p>A new sound system and special acoustic tiles were also installed in the courtroom.<\/p>\n<p>The open house is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Information submitted Just a reminder that the Van Wert County Common Pleas Court, located on the third floor of the County Courthouse, will be having an open house from 1-3 p.m. this Sunday to show off the recent courtroom renovation project.
