The girls had a great time cosmic bowling in Decatur, Ind., and then enjoyed tasting the cookies, including a new item &#8212; Double Dutch Chewy Snack Bars.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Girl-Scout-logo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-33436\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Girl-Scout-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"91\" \/><\/a>Girl Scouts are once again offering the Super Six cookies types &#8212; Thin Mints, Savannah Smiles, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Samoas, and Tagalongs. They also have two new items &#8212; Chewy Snack Bars in two flavors &#8212; Tagalongs and Double Dutch.<\/p>\n<p>Cookies are $3.50 per box and the snack bars are $4 per box. The Girl Scouts are also participating in the Gift of Caring &#8212; cookies purchased for Gift of Caring will be delivered to Heroes in Action and Operation Thank You.<\/p>\n<p>Those who would like to order cookies can call Carla Shaffer-Smith at 419.749.4246 and she will either take the order or have a Girl Scout contact people.
