{"id":33471,"date":"2013-01-09T07:03:36","date_gmt":"2013-01-09T12:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=33471"},"modified":"2013-01-09T21:29:18","modified_gmt":"2013-01-10T02:29:18","slug":"fiery-indiana-crash-kills-2-injures-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/01\/09\/fiery-indiana-crash-kills-2-injures-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Convoy woman killed in Indiana crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Staff\/Fort Wayne media reports<\/em><\/p>\n<p>NEW HAVEN, Ind. \u2013 A Convoy woman was one of two people killed in a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer rig and five personal vehicles on U.S. 30.<\/p>\n<p>Sandra Dealey, 43, was identified as one of those who died in the accident, which occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. Tuesday when a semi plowed into vehicles stopped at a traffic light on U.S. 30, near South Doyle Road east of Interstate 469.<\/p>\n<p>The other person killed was Suzanne K. Stephenson, 65, of Monroeville, Ind.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, in addition to the two people killed, seven others were injured &#8212; two of those seriously &#8212; and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Reports noted that the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 closed for approximately seven hours while the wreckage was cleared away.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff\/Fort Wayne media reports NEW HAVEN, Ind. \u2013 A Convoy woman was one of two people killed in a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer rig and five personal vehicles on U.S. 30.
