{"id":33571,"date":"2013-01-11T06:33:19","date_gmt":"2013-01-11T11:33:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=33571"},"modified":"2013-01-11T06:33:19","modified_gmt":"2013-01-11T11:33:19","slug":"convoy-fire-ems-plan-fundraiser","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/01\/11\/convoy-fire-ems-plan-fundraiser\/","title":{"rendered":"Convoy Fire &amp; EMS plan fundraiser"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Information submitted<\/em><\/p>\n<p>CONVOY &#8212; The Convoy Fire &amp; EMS Department will hold its 34th annual \u201cAll You Can Eat\u201d Pancake Day on Saturday, February 2.<\/p>\n<p>The fire department will serve whole-hog sausage and pancakes from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. that day at the Convoy Fire Station, 117 Franklin St.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Pancake-Artwork.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-33572\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Pancake-Artwork.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"129\" \/><\/a>Breakfast will cost $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-11. Children under 4 are free. The fundraiser is a chance to show appreciation and support for the fire department and all it does for the community. Bulk pork sausage and packaged ribs will also be on sale at the door that Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>All proceeds go toward the cost of a new grass fire truck that is now in service and will be available for inspection at the fire station.<\/p>\n<p>A bake sale will also be held at the station and donations will be accepted Friday, February 1, and the Saturday of the sausage and pancake breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the breakfast, contact Dale Ball at 419.749.2908 or Gary Kreischer at 419.203.1562.
