Van Wert swimming news<\/em><\/p>\n

The Van Wert High School boys and girls traveled to the Putnam County YMCA to compete with St. Marys Memorial and Ottawa-Glandorf. This meet was scored as a double dual.<\/p>\n

The Cougar boys defeated St Marys 87-71, but fell to Ottawa- Glandorf 71-91.\u00a0 The Cougar girls also defeated St. Marys 79.5-78.5, and also fell to O-G 109-51. The Titan teams both defeated St. Marys.<\/p>\n

Van Wert boys\u2019 swimmers placing first overall included Eric Easley (200-yard individual medley and 100-yard butterfly) and Kase Schalois (500-yard freestyle.)<\/p>\n

Best finishers for Van Wert girls were second place overall for Holly Hammond (200-yard freestyle) and Andi Foster (500-yard freestyle.)<\/p>\n
