United Way campaign news<\/em><\/p>\n

The 2012 United Way Campaign has raised $416,282, or 83 percent, of its $500,000 goal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely grateful to the Van Wert community for the response we have had for this campaign,\u201d said Campaign Chair R J Coleman. \u201cThere is great need within our community and our agencies and we, as a community, have stepped up and showed our generosity and commitment to Van Wert.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cThis is just one more reason to be proud to be a part of the Van Wert Community,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The United Way is currently on pace to surpass last year\u2019s total, since there are still some designations to come into the county through other United Way campaigns that have not yet reported their numbers.<\/p>\n

The campaign will continue for the next several months (click here<\/a><\/strong> for a divisional breakdown).<\/p>\n

Those who have not yet made a donation and would like to help the United Way meet its 2012 goal, can send donations to: Van Wert County United Way, 1151 Westwood Drive, Van Wert, OH 45891.<\/p>\n
