Congratulations to Bryceton Neer for being the winner of the Lincolnview Elementary School Store contest. Bryceton won this awesome robot as a prize for emailing the most people about the Lincolnview school store site in which the community can help raise money for the school by shopping at select stores online. The sophomore class is having their annual carnation sale for Valentine’s Day.\u00a0 Orders for carnations will be taken through Feb. 8.\u00a0 The carnations are available in many colors and\u00a0will be delivered to the students on the afternoon of Feb. 14.\u00a0 A special message may be\u00a0written and delivered with the flower as well.\u00a0 The carnations are $1.50 each.\u00a0 Junior high and\u00a0high school students can order at lunch time.\u00a0 Family and friends of students in grades 7-12\u00a0who would like to order can do so at the homecoming game this Friday night or can stop by\u00a0the high school office on Thursday and Friday.\u00a0 Colors available this year include the\u00a0traditional red, pink, white, and yellow as well as the new colors of blue and purple.<\/p>\n

The gym clean-up has gone well for the sophomores and there are only two more home\u00a0basketball games left.\u00a0 The clean-up crew for this Friday night is: Scott Cowling, Joe Murphy,\u00a0Wyatt Schmersal, Dalton Schmersal, Kaylin Taylor, Adam Stocksdale, Stephanie Longwell,\u00a0Stephen McLaughlin, JP O’Daffer, and Kourtney Parsons.\u00a0 The following students need to\u00a0volunteer at one of the last two games or pay their $10 class dues:\u00a0 Alexa Sikraji, Jordan\u00a0Young, Arik Mitchener, Jared Doner, Devi May, Curtis Moore, Jacob Gibson, Chey Chrisman,\u00a0Nathan Byrne, Ben Allen, and Brittany Pessefall.<\/p>\n

The Student Council held a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 29, to discuss the upcoming events related to Homecoming. The following themes were agreed upon for Homecoming Week: Monday \u2013 each grade level was to wear a different color to represent his or her grade level; Tuesday \u2013 twin day; Wednesday \u2013 fashion disaster; Thursday \u2013 pajama day; and Friday \u2013 dress to impress. Students are also competing for the best decorated hallway. The student council will be decorating the gym on Friday and the cafeteria on Saturday.<\/p>\n
