{"id":35228,"date":"2013-02-21T06:07:22","date_gmt":"2013-02-21T11:07:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=35228"},"modified":"2013-02-21T06:07:22","modified_gmt":"2013-02-21T11:07:22","slug":"cview-accepts-open-enrollment-apps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/02\/21\/cview-accepts-open-enrollment-apps\/","title":{"rendered":"C&#8217;view accepts open enrollment apps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Crestview Local Schools news<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Crestview Local Schools, in correlation with Ohio Revised Code 3313.64 or 3313.65, will again permit students from adjacent school districts to apply and enroll in the district\u2019s schools through \u201cOpen Enrollment\u201d for the 2013\u20102014 school year.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be accepted, beginning April 1, on a first-come, first\u2010served basis, according to the time and date the application is received by the superintendent of Crestview Local Schools. Requests will be acted upon no later than June 15.<\/p>\n<p>Parents interested in open enrollment for kindergarten students must complete an application at kindergarten registration, which will be held March 11\u201015, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the elementary office.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be considered in the order received and space may be limited. All applications (except for kindergarten students) must be completed and returned no later than May 31. Applications are available by contacting Superintendent Mike Estes\u2019s office at 419\u2010749\u20109100, extension 4 or on the school website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crestviewknights.com\">www.crestviewknights.com<\/a> under \u201cDownloads\/Links\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>All those approved for open enrollment transfers in effect for the 2012\u20102013 school year need to complete a new open enrollment application for the 2013\u20102014 school year.
