Tuesday, February 26, registration will be from 7:30-11:30 a.m., while Wednesday, February 27, registration times will be from 3-6 pm.\u00a0 Classrooms may be visited and tours available for parents and guardians. Those who cannot make any of these times can call for an appointment. Forms are available on the church website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calvaryelife.org\/\">www.calvaryelife.org<\/a>, under \u201cpreschool\u201d and then \u201cforms\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Calvary Preschool has been serving the Van Wert community and surrounding area for over 46 years. The preschool offers educational instruction, along with spiritual instruction, daily for boys and girls. The goal is to introduce boys and girls to a variety of learning experiences that helps prepare them for kindergarten.<\/p>\n<p>The preschool has a beautiful outdoor playground for students to use, with a climbing wall and swings.\u00a0 Inside, the walls have been decorated for the preschool. There is ample parking for parents. Snacks that include milk or 100-percent juice are provided daily by the preschool. The 4 and 5-year-old students go on field trips during the school year and there are special guests that come in during the winter months.<\/p>\n<p>The 4 and 5-year-olds also have take home bags that are used over the weekends. The totes provide activities and games for parents to do with their child. All the material needed is provided in the tote bag and children choose the theme they want to do. It is a wonderful learning tool for the child and the parents seem to enjoy it also.<\/p>\n<p>For added security, the preschool has incorporated ID badges for parents to use when picking up their children.<\/p>\n<p>Classes for 3-year-olds are on Monday and Friday mornings (8:30-11:30) and Tuesday and Thursday mornings (8:30-11:30, 4-year-olds (pre-kindergarten) meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings (8:30-11:30) and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings (8:30-11:30). Children must be 3 or 4 by August 1. The preschool\u2019s older 4- and 5-year-olds class (pre-kindergarten plus) meet on Monday through Thursday mornings (8:30-11:30).<\/p>\n<p>Calvary Preschool has Extended Care on Monday thru Friday between 7:30 &#8211; 8:30.\u00a0 If you are interested in Extended Care, please sign up.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers for the school year are: Issa Ickes (3-year-olds), Julie Stewart (4-year-olds) and Vicki Chavarria (older 4 and 5 year olds), Judy Fox is the preschool administrator and Juanita Hotmire is the aide on Wednesday mornings.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who cannot make these dates and times should call the church office at 567.259.3103 and ask for the preschool or e-mail <a href=\"mailto:judy@calvaryelife.org\">judy@calvaryelife.org<\/a> and other arrangements will be made.
