{"id":35659,"date":"2013-03-04T06:34:41","date_gmt":"2013-03-04T11:34:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=35659"},"modified":"2013-03-04T06:34:41","modified_gmt":"2013-03-04T11:34:41","slug":"buckeye-boys-state-selectees-named","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/03\/04\/buckeye-boys-state-selectees-named\/","title":{"rendered":"Buckeye Boys&#8217; State selectees named"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Buckeye Boys\u2019 State news<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The American Legion\u2019s Buckeye Boys\u2019 State program selection process recently ended and Legion Posts 178 in Van Wert and 346 in Ohio City are sending 10 students to Buckeye Boys\u2019 State this year from Van Wert County.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/American-Legion-logo-3-2013.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-35660\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/American-Legion-logo-3-2013.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"130\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a>Those selected include three students from Van Wert High School \u2013 Kyle Keber, Andrew Dingle and Quintin Mengerink; two from Lincolnview \u2013 Dalton West and Randall Burnett; one from Vantage Career Center \u2013 Nathan Ray Hooker; and four from Crestview High School \u2013 Kameron Grubaugh, Jon Young, Scott Miller and Copsey Bogle.<\/p>\n<p>Buckeye Boys\u2019 State participants will be introduced to all facets of state, county and local government in a hands-on environment.
