{"id":35892,"date":"2013-03-11T05:22:33","date_gmt":"2013-03-11T10:22:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=35892"},"modified":"2013-03-11T05:22:33","modified_gmt":"2013-03-11T10:22:33","slug":"venedocia-lions-announce-fundraiser-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/03\/11\/venedocia-lions-announce-fundraiser-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Venedocia Lions announce fundraiser"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Venedocia Lions Club news<\/em><\/p>\n<p>VENEDOCIA &#8212; The Venedocia Lions Club will be sponsoring its annual \u201call you can eat\u201d Pancakes &amp; Sausage Day on Saturday, March 16, at the Venedocia Lions building in that village.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Lions-International-Logo-new.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-35893\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Lions-International-Logo-new.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"140\" \/><\/a>Serving will be from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. and the cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-12. Those under 4 eat free. Carryout meals are also available, while 2-pound bulk sausage packages are also available for sale for $6.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for various Venedocia Lions Club community projects, including local food pantries, scholarships for Lincolnview and Spencerville seniors, donations to local 4-H clubs, Buckeye Boys State and Lincolnview Band Boosters.<\/p>\n<p>The Venedocia Lions also accept used eyeglasses to be used for Lions Club International projects.
