On April 8, 1978, he married Mary Alice (Jones) Boroff, who survives in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8711\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"66\" \/><\/a>Other survivors include two daughters, Amanda M. Maple of Van Wert and Erin (Brendan) Coughlan of Sidney; a brother, Tom Boroff of Oakwood; one sister, Janet Holbrooks of Oakwood; and four grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Cowan &amp; Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Jim Robbins officiating.
