The event will run from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/VW_Service_Club_logo_4-2009.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-19604\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/VW_Service_Club_logo_4-2009.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"134\" \/><\/a>The annual Pancake &amp; Sausage Breakfast is the first of two fundraising events in which the club is involved in each year. The money raised during the breakfast event is used to fund many worthwhile projects and activities in the Van Wert community.\u00a0 The Service Club finances several countywide speech and hearing projects, including the Thomas Edison Speech &amp; Hearing Center and the Van Wert County Summer Speech program.<\/p>\n<p>In years past, the club has provided speech amplification units in the Van Wert, Lincolnview, Crestview, and St. Mary\u2019s school systems.<\/p>\n<p>The Service Club also supports the following projects, activities, and organizations:\u00a0 Van Wert High School Service Pack, Van Wert Youth Baseball, Van Wert County Junior Fair, Van Wert County Junior Achievement, Buckeye Boys &amp; Girls State, the R.K. Thompson Self Reliance Award program, Van Wert County United Way, Community Health Professionals, Van Wert County Historical Society, Van Wert City Educator Endowment Fund, Van Wert DARE program, Van Wert Youth Football, The Salvation Army, Van Wert County 4-H, Wee Care Learning Center, and Van Wert area Boy Scouts.<\/p>\n<p>Service Club members would like to invite everyone to join them at this year\u2019s event. Adult tickets are $7 and children\u2019s tickets are $3.
