{"id":37132,"date":"2013-04-11T06:06:31","date_gmt":"2013-04-11T11:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=37132"},"modified":"2013-04-11T06:06:31","modified_gmt":"2013-04-11T11:06:31","slug":"meet-the-wizard-of-oz-characters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/04\/11\/meet-the-wizard-of-oz-characters\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet the &#8216;Wizard of Oz&#8217; characters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>VWHS Drama Club news<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em> \u201cMeet the Characters\u201d party for kids of all ages is set for 1:30-2:30 p.m. this Saturday, April 13, at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Wizard-of-Oz-logo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-35120\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Wizard-of-Oz-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"127\" \/><\/a>Those attending can have a snack, color, and meet and dance with the characters from the Van Wert High School production of <em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em>, including Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, the Wizard and the Wicked Witch of the West and her army of Winkies.<\/p>\n<p>Cost of admission is a $1 donation, and the event is limited to the first 50 children.
