(Dave Mosier\/Van Wert independent)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Van Wert man accused of felony child endangering was one of nine people indicted by the Van Wert County Grand Jury and arraigned Wednesday in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy Hartman, 38, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of child endangering, a felony of the second degree. Hartman was ordered released on a personal surety bond, but was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim in the case. A pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 24.<\/p>\n<p>Also arraigned Wednesday were the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ruth Ann Napier Caldwell, 21, of Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified government facility. The charge is a felony of the third degree. She was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial scheduled for 8 a.m. April 17. Caldwell also admitted to violating her community control sentence and was resentenced to three years of community control, with the added condition that she serve 137 days in jail.<\/li>\n<li>Tyler Kast, 20, of Van Wert, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of complicity to illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of a government facility, also a third-degree felony. He was released on a personal surety bond and his case scheduled for pretrial conference at 8 a.m. April 24.<\/li>\n<li>Megan Fischbach, 22, of Delphos, pleaded not guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a felony of the fifth degree. She was released on a surety bond and a pretrial conference set for 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 17.<\/li>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<li>Zach Young, 26, of Van Wert, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony offense. He was released on a surety bond and a pretrial conference scheduled for 8 a.m. April 17.<\/li>\n<li>Amber Wollet, 32, of Ohio City, pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree. She was released on a surety bond and is scheduled to appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. April 17.<\/li>\n<li>Jacqueline Davis, 21, of Delphos, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree. She was released on a surety bond and a pretrial conference set for 8 a.m. April 24.<\/li>\n<li>Pamela Collins, 44, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault, a misdemeanor of the first degree. She was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference scheduled for 8 a.m. April 24.<\/li>\n<li>Andrew Thomas, 31, of Ohio City, pleaded not guilty to a charge of breaking and entering, a felony of the fifth degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. April 24.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also Wednesday, two people were sentenced in Common Pleas Court. Kenneth Myers III, 21, of Van Wert, was given three years of community control on a charge of theft, a felony of the fifth degree. As part of that sentence, Myers must serve up to six months in the Western Ohio Regional Treatment and Habilitation (WORTH) Center in Lima. He is also ordered to pay restitution totaling $1,555 to Van Wert Federal Savings Bank. He was ordered held in jail until he can be transported to the WORTH Center.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Kent, 29, of Delphos, was given a year of community control on a misdemeanor assault charge. He must also make restitution of $400 to the victim in the case by May 15.<\/p>\n<p>Two people also appeared in Common Pleas Court on probation violation charges.<\/p>\n<p>Nicholas Wheeler, 27, of Ohio City, denied violating his community control probation by being terminated from the WORTH Center and will appear for a hearing on the charge at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Stoller, 30, of Van Wert, admitted to violating his treatment in lieu of conviction program and will appear for sentencing at a later date. A presentence investigation was also ordered by Judge Charles D. Steele.<\/p>\n<p>Three people also changed their pleas from not guilty to guilty during hearings held Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>April Franklin, 31, of Bryan, pleaded guilty to a charge of trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances, a felony of the fifth degree. She then requested, and was granted, treatment in lieu of conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Kip Hartman, 50, of Van Wert, entered a guilty plea to two counts of trafficking in drugs, both felonies of the fifth degree. He also requested, and was granted, treatment in lieu of conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Dustin Hasch, 24, of Paulding, pleaded guilty to a charge of nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony.
