Helen Joan McDonough, 75, of Rockford, died suddenly Monday morning, February 28, 2011, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.<\/p>\n
She was born June 8, 1935, in Rockford, the daughter of the late Russell and Voyla (Rickard) Fleming. On January 19, 1957, she married James McDonough, who survives in Rockford.<\/p>\n
Other survivors include two children, Cathy (Ed) Richard of Minster and Larry (Tammy) McDonough of Rockford; four grandchildren; a brother, Harold Fleming of Van Wert; and one sister, Opal Post of Coldwater.<\/p>\n
A sister, Mary Marsee; one sister-in-law, Catherine Fleming; and a brother-in-law, Urban Post, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy and the Rev. Ray Daniels officiating.
