{"id":3947,"date":"2011-03-02T00:39:19","date_gmt":"2011-03-02T05:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=3947"},"modified":"2011-03-02T00:39:46","modified_gmt":"2011-03-02T05:39:46","slug":"extension-plans-livestock-qa-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2011\/03\/02\/extension-plans-livestock-qa-events\/","title":{"rendered":"Extension offering livestock QA events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quality Assurance is a state-required training program for any 4-H or FFA member exhibiting Junior Fair livestock (except rabbits, and The Ohio State University Extension is hosting a total of three QA events at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds this year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/OSU-Extension-logo-4-2009.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-676\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/OSU-Extension-logo-4-2009.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"95\" height=\"108\" \/><\/a>The first of those events is this Sunday March 6, starting at 2 p.m. For those planning the participate, the Washington Street fairgrounds gate will be closed and they should enter at the gate off Balyeat Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>4-H or FFA members must register at the Junior Fair Building or the Extension Office when they arrive the day of the event. Further instructions will be provided at that time.<\/p>\n<p>QA test-out will be offered, starting at 1 p.m. at the Junior Fair Building.
