{"id":39768,"date":"2013-06-15T07:31:51","date_gmt":"2013-06-15T12:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=39768"},"modified":"2013-06-15T07:32:08","modified_gmt":"2013-06-15T12:32:08","slug":"wrenstock-festival-begins-at-noon-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/06\/15\/wrenstock-festival-begins-at-noon-today\/","title":{"rendered":"WrenStock festival begins at noon today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Information submitted<\/em><\/p>\n<p>WREN &#8212; Most people have heard of the 1960s-era rock festival Woodstock, but now there\u2019s WrenStock, a music festival being presented today by the Wrenway Park Wiffleball Warehouse, in association with Bill Miller Auto of Decatur, Ind.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Wrenstock-flyer-2-2013.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-35038\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Wrenstock-flyer-2-2013.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"147\" height=\"252\" \/><\/a>The entertainment will begin at noon today and will include the music of regional rock bands 100 Proof, Birch Band, Double Kik and Boomswang, although they will play in no particular order.<\/p>\n<p>Area residents are asked to join Wrenway Park Wiffleball Warehouse organizers in downtown Wren as they come together to raise funds for the 23rd annual Wiffleball Tournament. The popular Wiffleball tournament will be held August 16-17<sup> <\/sup>in the \u201cWiffleball Capital of Ohio\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>WrenStock will be held rain or shine, but no carry-in of any type will be allowed. The Beverage Garden will open and food will be available for purchase, starting at 11:30 a.m. today.<\/p>\n<p>WrenStock will be a day of fun for all ages, but to enter the gate people will need a ticket.
