{"id":4060,"date":"2011-03-03T01:59:41","date_gmt":"2011-03-03T06:59:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=4060"},"modified":"2011-03-03T00:47:12","modified_gmt":"2011-03-03T05:47:12","slug":"congressman-announces-art-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2011\/03\/03\/congressman-announces-art-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Congressman announces art competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BOWLING GREEN \u2013 U.S. Representative Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) announces the 2011 Congressional Art Competition.\u00a0The competition is open to all high school students who reside in the Fifth Congressional District.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Congressional Art Competition is an excellent opportunity for high school students to showcase their artistic ability,\u201d Latta said. \u201cI look forward to seeing our district\u2019s creative talent represented in our Congressional hallway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The artwork must be submitted by Friday, March 25, to one of Latta\u2019s three district offices.The offices are located at 1045 N. Main Street, Suite 6, Bowling Green; 101 Clinton Street, Suite 1200, Defiance; and 11 E. Main St., Norwalk.<\/p>\n<p>Winners will be announced on Saturday, April 16, at Owens Community College\u2019s Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Walter E.
