{"id":42021,"date":"2013-08-19T07:09:44","date_gmt":"2013-08-19T12:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=42021"},"modified":"2013-08-19T07:09:44","modified_gmt":"2013-08-19T12:09:44","slug":"cview-sets-11-computer-info-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/08\/19\/cview-sets-11-computer-info-meetings\/","title":{"rendered":"C&#8217;view sets 1:1 computer info meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Crestview Local Schools information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>CONVOY &#8212; Crestview High School and Middle School officials have set informational meetings for the 1:1 computer initiative for students in grades 7-12.<\/p>\n<p>All students will have access to a computer to use during the school year, with an option for students to take their laptops home for schoolwork through the payment of a $40 non-refundable fee.<\/p>\n<p>The administration is hosting the following meetings to discuss this program with parents and students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wednesday, August 21, at 6 p.m. &#8212; Students in grades 8-9 will meet in the high school gym along with any students who were unable to attend the 10-12 graders\u2019 meeting on August 14.<\/li>\n<li>Monday, August 26, at 6:30 p.m. &#8212; Seventh-graders will meet in the auditeria for orientation and 1:1 computer program information.\u00a0 Any 8-12 grade students who were unable to attend a prior meeting may attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following each orientation session, parents will have the opportunity to sign and complete the 1:1 laptop policy document and pay the $40 fee.
