This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.57 a gallon, according to gasoline price website <a href=\"http:\/\/gasbuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Including the change in gas prices in Ohio during the past week, prices Sunday were 23 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 6.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has decreased 9.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 16.6 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"MGN Online graphic\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28382\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" alt=\"Gasoline price graphic 8-2012\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>&#8220;As driving season works closes out, the national average has been remarkably quiet, so far, but that may change as gasoline inventories declined a sizable amount last week,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/gasbuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a> Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. &#8220;The Energy Information Administration in its weekly report issued last Wednesday highlighted one of the largest drops in gasoline inventories this year.
