The six-session video and discussion program will be held on Thursday evenings. Beginning September 12, each session will be held in the hospital\u2019s B and C conference rooms from 5:30-7:30 p.m.\u00a0 Van Wert Hospital is located at 1250 S. Washington St.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/VWCH-color-logo-6-2011.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-26918\" alt=\"VWCH color logo 6-2011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/VWCH-color-logo-6-2011.jpg\" width=\"125\" height=\"163\" \/><\/a>&#8220;We are proud to offer Active Parenting of Teens to the parents in our community,&#8221; says Julia Gauvey, LSW, MSW, of the Social Services and Transition Care Department of Van Wert County Hospital. \u201cThis program combines entertaining video and discussion to help parents learn how to raise children who are cooperative, responsible and able to resist peer pressure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also guides parents in dealing with sensitive issues such as drugs, sexuality and violence,\u201d Gauvey added.<\/p>\n<p>This parenting workshop is funded by a grant provided by the Ohio Children\u2019s Trust Fund.
