Van Wert County Sheriff Thomas Riggenbach is asking for the public\u2019s assistance in solving a series of burglaries and break-ins in the county.<\/p>\n
Sheriff Riggenbach advised that two burglaries, one attempted burglary and a break-in have taken place between September 2 and 7 in Washington and Jennings townships.<\/p>\n
The offenses are believed to have taken place during the early morning hours.<\/p>\n
Sheriff Riggenbach is asking that anyone with any information about these offenses call the sheriff\u2019s office at 419.238.3866. The sheriff also asks that county residents who see any suspicious activity also report that to the above telephone number or on his office\u2019s website at www.vanwertcountysheriff.com<\/a> using the \u201cSubmit a Crime Tip\u201d link.
