Van Wert independent\/submitted information<\/i><\/p>\n

It’s haunting time at Hiestand Woods! The haunted woods will be open at park, located on Hospital Drive, just east of Van Wert County Hospital, every Friday and Saturday in October from 8-11 p.m., weather permitting.<\/p>\n

Admission is $8 per person, while a multiple entry pass will be available for $10 and allows an individual unlimited entry for the night of purchase. A kid watch area is also available for $2 per child.<\/p>\n

This year’s \u201cSpook Fest Trick or Treating\u201d for kids will be October 19, from 1-3 p.m., at $2 per person. Anyone interested in creating a scene or volunteering to help with scenes (individuals or organizations), may email Jim at\u00a0pearsonj101@yahoo.com<\/a>. This annual event is presented by Van Wert Community Club and local DARE organizations.<\/p>\n
