Meals are sold on a pre-sale basis only.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $8 each and are available for purchase now from any Wren Christmas Society member.<\/p>\n<p>Dinners will be available for pick-up at the WCS building at the Wren Ballpark on October 19, between 11 a.m.-1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The money raised will be used to pay for the electricity used to power the Christmas lights this holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>In other WCS news, Christmas decorations will be put up in Wren on Saturday, November 16, and the official lighting ceremony will be held after Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p>Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Wren on Saturday, December 14, and Friday and Saturday, December 20 and 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact Larry Davis at 419.495.2584.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent\/submitted information WREN &#8212; The Wren Christmas Society is selling tickets for chicken dinners to be distributed on Saturday, October 19.\u00a0 Gibson\u2019s Barnyard BBQ will prepare the food, which will include half of a chicken, baked beans, cheesy potatoes and cole slaw.
