The Van Wert County Historical Society reminds its patrons who are attending the chicken barbecue this Saturday, October 5, that the meal will be served from 5-7 p.m.<\/p>\n
Those who will be carrying out their dinners should travel west on East Third Street and stop at the driveway leading up to the annex. Your dinners will be delivered to your cars. Those eating in should park in the lot off East Third Street behind the Welcome Center. Those dinners will be served in the barn.<\/p>\n
This event is a major fundraiser for the historical society. Money raised by the meal helps maintain the historical society\u2019s buildings and provide quality programs for the community.<\/p>\n
Those interested in learning more about the Historical Society, becoming a member or just wanting to tour the organization\u2019s buildings can stop by on Saturday.
