Tom and Chris Gibson of Gibson&#8217;s Barnyard BBQ prepared a great meal for the event.\u00a0 The money from the chicken dinners will be used to help pay for electricity for the Christmas lights this season.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas lights and decorations are up in the Village of Wren and the official lighting will be on Saturday, November 30, at dark (approximately 6 p.m.).<\/p>\n<p>Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Wren at the Santa Shack at the corner of Ohio 49 and Jackson Street from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, December 14, Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21.\u00a0 Again this year, carriage rides and hot chocolate and cookies will be available during Santa&#8217;s visiting hours.<\/p>\n<p>The society will also be sponsoring an outside home display contest again this year within a 3-mile radius of Wren.
