WREN — The Wren Christmas Society would like to thank everyone for their support in purchasing chicken dinner tickets. Tom and Chris Gibson of Gibson’s Barnyard BBQ prepared a great meal for the event.\u00a0 The money from the chicken dinners will be used to help pay for electricity for the Christmas lights this season.<\/p>\n
Christmas lights and decorations are up in the Village of Wren and the official lighting will be on Saturday, November 30, at dark (approximately 6 p.m.).<\/p>\n
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Wren at the Santa Shack at the corner of Ohio 49 and Jackson Street from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, December 14, Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21.\u00a0 Again this year, carriage rides and hot chocolate and cookies will be available during Santa’s visiting hours.<\/p>\n
