{"id":45739,"date":"2013-11-25T07:56:35","date_gmt":"2013-11-25T12:56:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=45739"},"modified":"2013-11-25T07:57:03","modified_gmt":"2013-11-25T12:57:03","slug":"historical-museum-has-christmas-items","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2013\/11\/25\/historical-museum-has-christmas-items\/","title":{"rendered":"Historical Museum has Christmas items"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Historical Society information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The holiday lights will once again be shining on the Van Wert County Historical Society during the evening hours from November 29 through December 31.<\/p>\n<p>Trimmed in lights and garland, the campus and buildings offer the feeling of \u201cAn Old Fashioned Holiday\u201d.\u00a0 Visitors are invited to make holiday memories, as the decorated campus becomes a wonderful backdrop for holiday photos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn Old Fashioned Holiday\u201d continues at The Gift Shoppe at the Seven Oaks<i>. <\/i>Visits from local carolers will be featured on the Sundays of December 1, 8, and 15, from 2-4:30 p.m.\u00a0 Santa himself will be visiting the Gift Shoppe on December 1. The last day for 2013 activities at the Van Wert County Historical Society will be December 15.<\/p>\n<p>The trustees wish to thank all who have visited the campus during the 2013 season and also thank the docents and the junior curators for their dedication and support.
